Hello, I’m Summer

I’m a Product Owner and Agile practitioner based in Singapore, with eight years of experience leading software delivery teams from requirements through release.

I started in software engineering — my degree is in Software Engineering from Asia Pacific University and my first role was as a developer intern building a food recommendation system in ASP.NET and C#. That technical foundation still shapes how I work today: I can sit with engineers and talk about the build, then turn around and explain trade-offs to a non-technical stakeholder.

Since then I’ve worn most of the hats on a product team — Project Coordinator at Mifun Network, Business Analyst then Project Manager at Agmo Holdings Berhad, and now Product Owner at Qornerstone Pte Ltd. Along the way I’ve worked with clients in e-commerce, retail (Fairprice Group), and healthcare (IHH Healthcare), running Scrum and Kanban teams using JIRA, SQL, and Power BI.

What I care about most: clarity. Most project pain comes from fuzzy requirements, unspoken priorities, and unclear ownership. My job is to remove that fog — refining stories until they’re testable, surfacing trade-offs early, and giving the team a backlog they can actually finish.

Outside of tech, I’ve also run two small businesses — Glammy Gift & Florist and The Everyday Men — sourcing products from China suppliers, designing packaging and marketing visuals (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), and selling curated gifting products end-to-end. That side of me shows up at work too: a strong eye for presentation, an instinct for what customers actually want, and the patience to iterate until it lands.
